Derriere Extraordinaire
by TrainerDiva on February 17, 2010
Even though it is nearly impossible to think about spring when snow is still on the ground, there's no reason you shouldn't work on your derriere now. You'll be happy you did! Try the Hamstring Curl with Stability Ball, TrainerDiva's No Excuses Move of the Day. This move targets your core, legs, and glutes and will send extra junk in the trunk packing for good!
Remember, the Hamstring Curl with Stability Ball is an intermediate move. If you do not have experience working with a stability ball, try working on a Bridge Pose instead. Begin by laying flat on the floor with knees bent, feet flat, toes pointing straight ahead and arms by the sides. With core activated and glutes squeezed, lift your hips off the ground to form a straight line between knees and shoulders. Remember to breathe and hold this position for as long as you can. After working on your Bridge Pose, you will be ready for the Hamstring Curl with Stability Ball in no time!
