TrainerDiva’s Triple Ab Attack

When these three exercises are done in sequence, your abs will definitely be attacked! (But in a good way.)

Complete all three of these exercises in 30 second intervals without skipping a beat then repeat. Your abs will be bikini ready in no time. (Advanced Divas try a third set!)

 

Basic Plank - Bring your forearms and toes to the floor, with your legs fully extended and keep your body straight from your ears through your toes. Don't allow your back to sag!  Pull your abs tight to support your back. Do your best to hold for 20-30 seconds.

 

Cross Body Mountain Climbers – Come up into a full plank position, as shown in Figure A. Be sure your hands are placed under your shoulders. Bring one knee over towards your opposite shoulder, contracting your abs and keeping your back as straight as possible. Then take your leg back to the starting position. Repeat with the opposite leg and keep alternating for 30 seconds. Perform each move at a controlled pace.


Spidermans – Stay in full push-up position, again with hands under your shoulders, as shown in Figure A. Take your knee to the outside of your body towards your elbow, while turning to look at your knee simultaneously. Bring your leg back down to the start position. Continue alternating sides for 30 seconds. (Advanced Divas: try the spiderman with a push-up as shown in Figure B.)
